Lomaland is an old name for the land on Point Loma.
A small company on the point, run by one person, staffed by students.
Why this company exists
Two reasons.
Steady, flexible work for students, and a careful clean for homeowners from someone they will see again.
College students need work that bends around exams and class schedules. Homeowners want to know who is in their home and to see the same person next time. Lomaland pairs the two. Kolby trains every cleaner, sets the schedule, and confirms every booking himself.
The company cleans houses, condos, and apartments in the City of San Diego. No offices, no commercial work.

Kolby McCargar
I grew up in Elk Grove, just outside Sacramento, and came to Point Loma for business school at Point Loma Nazarene University. I spent years making coffee for this neighborhood, and I serve in the National Guard on the weekends. I started Lomaland to build something real in the community that took me in: work that bends around students’ class schedules, products I would use in my own kitchen, and the same friendly face at your door every visit.
