The plain terms for booking a clean.

Booking requests

Sending a request through this site is not a booking. A booking exists when Kolby confirms a date and time by text. Prices shown on the site are per visit for a home in normal condition and are confirmed at booking. If the home is very different from what was described, Kolby will say so before work starts and you may cancel at no cost.

Cancellations and changes

Text Kolby by 6 pm the day before your visit to cancel or move it at no charge. Cancellations after that, or a locked door at visit time, may be charged half the visit. Regular cleans can be paused or stopped any time; there are no contracts and no cancellation fees for ending a schedule.

Payment

Card, Venmo, or Zelle, collected after each visit once the cleaning is done. Nothing is charged when you book. If a payment is late, Kolby will text you to sort it out. No late fees, no auto-charges, no collections letters.

Access to your home

You decide how the cleaner gets in. If you leave a key or code, keep it current. Tell us about alarms, pets, and anything the cleaner should not touch.

What we do and do not do

The pricing page lists what each clean includes and does not include. Cleaners do not move heavy furniture or appliances, climb above a step stool, or handle mold, biohazards, or pests.

If something goes wrong

Tell us within 24 hours of the visit and we will come back and put it right. If something is damaged, tell us the same day with a photo, and we will work it out with you directly.

Limits

Our responsibility for any visit is limited to the price of that visit, except where the law does not allow that limit. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or items not disclosed as fragile.

Text messages

Kolby confirms bookings by text. Ongoing reminders are sent only if you checked the box on the booking form. Reply STOP to end them. Message and data rates may apply.

Changes to these terms

Updates are posted here with a new effective date. Bookings already confirmed keep the terms that applied when they were confirmed.
