Booking
How does booking work?
Tell us the size of your home, pick a service, and choose two or three windows that work for you. Kolby confirms the time by text. Nothing is charged online.
How fast will I hear back?
Kolby replies within one business day, usually the same afternoon.
Do I need to be home?
No. Many customers leave a key, a lockbox code, or a garage code in the notes when they book. If you would rather be home for the first visit, say so and we will plan around it.
What if I need to cancel or move a visit?
Text Kolby by 6 pm the day before your visit to cancel or move it, and there is no charge. Later than that, or a locked door at visit time, may be charged half the visit.
Pricing
How is the price set?
Flat rates by the size of your home. You see the price before you book, and the same price holds unless the home is very different from what you described.
How do I pay?
Card, Venmo, or Zelle, collected after each visit once the cleaning is done. Nothing is charged when you book.
Is there a discount for regular visits?
Yes. Standard cleans are 20 percent off every week, 15 percent off every two weeks, and 10 percent off every four weeks. The quote builder shows what that saves over a year.
Do I need to provide anything?
No. Cleaners bring the products and tools. If you have a vacuum you prefer we use on your floors, leave it out and tell us in the notes.
Products
What products do you use?
Plant-based cleaners. No bleach, no ammonia, no synthetic fragrance. If you have a product you want us to avoid, or one you want us to use, tell us in the notes.
Will my home smell like anything afterward?
Faintly of the products for an hour or so, then nothing. There is no added fragrance in what we use.
Cleaners
Who will be cleaning my home?
A current Point Loma Nazarene University student, trained by Kolby. Only college students clean. Kolby introduces your cleaner by name before the first visit.
Will I get the same cleaner each time?
Yes, whenever their class schedule allows. If your cleaner is out, Kolby tells you who is coming instead and when.
Do you clean homes with pets?
Yes. Tell us about them when you book so your cleaner knows who to expect and where they like to be. If shedding is a way of life at your house, add the pet hair treatment and we will give the floors and furniture a proper going-over.
Service area
Where do you clean?
Homes in the City of San Diego, from Point Loma and Ocean Beach through Downtown, Hillcrest, North Park, and up to Pacific Beach and Clairemont. The booking form checks your ZIP code.
Do you clean offices?
No. Houses, condos, and apartments only.
